At Woodland Hills, we’re well-known for our peer empowerment approach to treatment and our innovative programs. But our real reputation comes not from the techniques, but from the results ~ every year, every day. We help children find measures of success as they learn to make better choices, gain new skills and discover they want to be a productive part of their community. Two scholarship funds also exist to support alumni in their educational and career paths.
The Endowment Fund of Woodland Hills offers up to $2,000 in financial support for alumni attending college, trade school or a career training program. It also considers funding for fees for placement, certification or career-related exams.
The Johnson-Lundin Family Scholarship supports scholastic achievement of a current student or alumni of our residential programs. A one-time award of $5,000 toward educational costs is offered to an individual attending an accredited public or private college in Minnesota.
More information regarding eligibility and guidelines can be found on our full website.
Did you participate in one of Woodland Hills programs? If so, we’d like to hear from you. As you can imagine, the story of a former student is the strongest way to explain how Woodland Hills helps and empowers youth to reach their potential. Whether you choose to share your story or simply want to be added to our list of student alumni, we encourage you to keep in touch. Please contact us at (218) 728-7500 x113 or send us an email.
